What to expect if you attend a Skagit Muzzle Loaders Rendezvous
Traders and the public are welcome at no charge.
If you want to participate, the shooters fee is $20.00.
Fee includes: Rifle, Pistol, H&K trade gun and Squirrel gun.
Juniors and PeeWee’s FREE
Some Firewood, but NO water, this is a dry camp, so bring your own.
Traders to provide a prize – minimum value $$
We encourage food vendors, but we don’t always have them. If you plan to stay very long, you may want to have snacks and beverages with you just in case.
Dressing up is encouraged, but certainly not required.
Upon paying the shooter fees, shooters are provided with all the required targets and a score card. We use the honor system and each shooter goes at their own pace. Arrive when you can – there are no official scored events to miss. Please bring your ear and eye protection

STEW POT and/or POTLUCK
Skagit Muzzle Loaders provides the main dish, this year it will be pulled pork on Saturday evening. Typically, this is a community meal, everyone is encourage to bring a dish (and it’s delicious). In the event of a burn ban, this will become a pot luck and alternate cooking methods are required. Everyone – shooters, guests and the public – are invited to partake of the evening meal.
PRIZES & OTHER AWARDS
Scores are tallied on Sunday morning and prizes awarded beginning at noon. This can take a while as there are loads of prizes, awards, drawings, announcements and such. Bring a chair and your coffee and prepare to be entertained.
Multi-family camps must register separately
Skagit Muzzle Loaders offers the following camping options: Primitive, Modern Tent or Tin Tee-pee (camper). Sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Campers and vendors may arrive as early as 8:00 am Thursday. You are expected to clean up after yourselves, pack in-pack-out. And please be respectful of all that attend.
Camp rules will be given at registration.
Toilets are outhouse only.
Bring your own firewood.
There is no running water on the site. Please bring your own water for drinking, cooking, cleanup and 5 gallons for emergency fire suppression.
